No 1. Hirayu-toge (Nyukawa-cho, Takayama city/Okuhida onsengo)

The place where a photographer Mr. Hiroike goes to take a picture for fall leaves first in the year is Hirayu-toge which has an elevation of 1,684m. There is few visitora because the area has self-driving restriction.

No 2 Gandate Park (Osaka-cho, Gero-city)

Osaka-cho has the most waterfalls in Japan and is located at the foot of Mt.Ontake(the evaluation of 3067m). Gandate means cross-section of lava plateau and named 54,000 years ago.

No 3. Utsue Sijuhattaki Falls (Kokufu-cho, Takayama-city)

This nature park has 13 waterfalls, and Outaki, which is the largest one, drops from a height of 18.8 meters. It is selected as the best 50 water in Gifu pref. It has Visitors can enjoy hiking with seasonal view.

No 4. Shirakawago & Oshirakawa (Shirakawa-village)

Shirakawago is the world heritage site. The views of the village from the observation deck and triplets Gassho zukuri from Kanmachi are worth taking a picture even in a rainy day.

Shirakawago holds light up event in winter and a lot of people from all over the world are eager to join the event and see the fantastic view. There are less visitors at the light up event in fall than in winter, so we recommend the fall’s one.

Gassho zukuri Minkaen is outdoor museum and reproduced the old-fashioned lifestyle. You can learn traditional history and culture there in the daytime and enjoy the lightning up in the evening.

Minkaen allows visitors to bring a tripod for camera, so you can take a picture of upside down Gassho zukuri reflected on the pond.
