Mountain hiking in nature
“Kamikochi” means the place where the god descends. It has lots of nature such as wild animals and the nature view, but the most impressive one is the emerald green water in the river and the pond.

The morning sun over the sea of clouds
One of the recommended things to see in Takayama is the sunrise over the sea of clouds from Mt.Norikura. Overnight bus to Tatamidaira (the summit of Mt.Norikura) runs between July and September through Norikura Skyline. You have to see the sunrise once in your life.
“Forest line” with negative ions in the air
This activity is sliding with wire and pulley in the air like Tarzan. You can enjoy 6 courses with 2 hours at HIRUGANO. You can practice at first, so don’t be anxious if you try it for the first time.

Takayama has some summer events at summer night.
Tezutsu fireworks is a hand-held fireworks and sparks fifteen feet into the air. Visitors including kids can enjoy street stalls at Takayama Jinya night market.

The best time for alpine plants!
The elevation of Tatamidaira is about 2,700m. You can find rare alpine plants and small animals there.
Fresh Peach Sweets
Hida Peach is one of the brand fruits in Hida. Hida’s temperature difference(over 10℃) within one day makes the fruit more tasteful. Kameyama farm and Maesaka farm provide Takayama Green Hotel their peaches and our hotel makes original parfait with the peach.
Takayama Green Hotel holds Hida Peach Fair in August 2019 and provides various peach items at each restaurant.
Speaking of summer, it is a shaved ice.
Hida Ooiya is a Japanese cafe at the old street and provides a soft shaved ice with rich fresh strawberry sauce.
Fresh smoothie
Cowcow Yogurt is along Honmachi shopping street and their smoothie is recommendable. Refreshing drink is good in summer, isn’t it?
Cool jelly sweets line up!
We would like to recommend cool jelly sweets for souvenir. Soft adzuki-bean jelly, ice cream, jelly, juice with fresh fruit made from Hida line up at Hida Bussankan on hotel site.
