Must visiting place is Shirakawago which is the world heritage site. The most recommended spot is triplet Gassho zukuri surrounded by red and yellow leaves.
Famous spot in fall
“Kamikochi（上高地 means 神降地）means the place where the god descends. It has lots of nature such as mysterious emerald green water of the river and fall leaves. You should bring a camera there!
Traditional fishing method
The fishing method called Hiburi-ryo is held a few times between late-Aug and early-Sep in Maze-river. The very beautiful and fantastic scenery with flickering fire spreads on the water surface.
